David, a PhD student at CCADD, has been awarded the “Best Poster Award” in the Young Scientist Session at the 2025 Fall Conference of the Korean Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (KSCPT).

David presented his study entitled “Enhancing Large Language Model-Based Drug–Drug Interaction Prediction Using Conformal Prediction.” His research proposes a novel strategy that integrates conformal prediction, a statistical uncertainty-quantification technique, to identify protein features that are most strongly associated with pharmacokinetic drug–drug interactions. By refining key inputs fed into large language models (LLMs), his work demonstrates substantial improvements in both predictive performance and mechanistic explainability.

This award underscores the growing impact of AI-powered methods in modern clinical pharmacology.
