The program was established to support domestic medical AI researchers and companies by providing optimized computing environments equipped with valuable medical datasets and substantial computing resources. This enables researchers to focus on developing next-generation medical AI technologies and translational applications without the burden of building and maintaining their own infrastructure.
Prof. Howard Lee and his team will leverage this infrastructure to support their ongoing research on COMET-DDI, a novel framework for predicting complex drug-drug interactions (cDDIs), as well as a broad range of other research projects. The additional computing capacity is expected to give momentum to the team's broader research efforts and enable a wider range of projects to advance in parallel.
