Min Ji has graduated from Hankuk Univeristy of Foreign Studies in February 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Bioscience and Biotechnology. She is now working as a researcher at CCADD, and considers applying for a graduate school next half this year.

Two undergraduate students (Left: Min Ji Kim, Right: Ara Cho) will spend the next eight weeks (January - February, 2018) at CCADD, working as a team through the winter internship program at the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology, Seoul National University. Min Ji will graduate in February 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Bioscience and Biotechnology at Hankuk Univeristy of Foreign Studies. Ara is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the School of Biotechnology and Environmental Engineering, Catholic University of Korea with a major in Life Science.

This intensive research internship program aims to provide student interns with hands-on research experience in drug development and regulatory sciences, helping them further build their academic achievements. Hyewon Hwang, a 2017 summer intern of the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology, shared her internship experience at CCADD in an interview with GSCST Blog. During her internship, Hyewon was involved in a project where machine learning was used to solve real world problems in drug development, particularly at the junction of medicine and pharmaceutical science. She was impressed how diverse and share-minded the people at CCADD were. "It was truly what convergence should be all about", Hyewon added, "And, the internship program at CCADD was very well planned and thoughtfully organized such that I could learn and get exposed to the state-of-the-art application of deep learning to practical issues and problems."
